MEET OUR TUTORS - Timothy Tiches

 Timothy Tiches

My name is Timothy Tiches, but I like just to be called Tim.

I am full-blooded Greek (my father emigrated from Greece and my mom had Greek parents) and spent the first 12 years in Washington, DC where I was born. I went to elementary school in DC and to junior and senior high school in Arlington, VA. Then I graduated from The George Washington University with a Physics degree and a second lieutenant commission in the USAF.

I spent 20 years on active duty in the Air Force with most of my Engineering/Program Management career in California. I also had tours at Biloxi, MS; Laramie, WY (where I received a Master’s Degree in EE); Manchester, NH, and Bedford MA (where I got a Master’s in Computer Engineering). After my last assignment at Hanscom AFB, I retired and continued my program management support as a consultant to several contractors hired by Hanscom AFB.

I am fully retired now and honing my golf game at Sky Meadow in Nashua, NH where I live with my wife Mary. We have two grown boys and three grandchildren.
