Parent Involvement

One of the most important ingredients for students to succeed in school is academic support at home.  GEAR UP Lowell offers parent workshops that focus on college admissions and financial aid, as well as parent education programs such as computer training and parent discussion groups.

Lowell Adult Education works closely with GEAR UP to provide ESL and GED classes for GEAR UP parents.  Involved parents become teachers for other parents in their neighborhood and school communities.  Together, parents, students and GEAR UP Lowell staff make it happen!
